Wild Elephant Valley is the only place in China where you can see wild elephants , and it is also closely related to the Ancient Tea Horse Road . Wild Elephant Valley is a large tropical rain forest , which is mainly a long plank road , which is more than 20 meters above the ground , winding in the rain forest . The end of the plank road is the observatory . This circular platform is the best place to watch wild elephants .
There are trees on both sides of the plank road , and the straight big trees rush into the sky . Various vines are entwined with the middle . They are lush , layered on top of each other , and extraordinarily lush , like a green kingdom . High and straight , thousands and hundreds become peaks .” . On the fences on both sides of the plank road , there are many pictures of elephants and popular science of plants . I saw pictures of elephants taking a bath , and pictures of elephant mothers taking elephant babies into the water for the first time . Looking at these lively and cute elephants , I find it very interesting and I can’t wait to see them . Look Walking along the plank road , various tropical plants continue to come into view , such as : wood milk fruit , eight-treasure tree , lamp stand tree , sword poison tree . After a turn , a small stream appeared in the valley under the plank road . There was a large scream of ” quacking ” , which turned out to be a lot of frogs crowing happily . This reminds me of Zhao Shixiu’s verse : ” It rains at home of the yellow plum season , and there are frogs everywhere in the grass pond .” . It should be the twelfth lunar month in the north at this time , rain and snow are falling , but the winter here is so warm , the frogs don’t need to hibernate . And the frogs in the northern summer only bark at night , unlike the frogs here , they bark so cheerfully at noon .
Going further , a platform suddenly appeared . There was a tree in the middle of the platform . Several tourists were taking pictures on the tree . When they looked up , it turned out that there were two small animals sleeping on the tree . Their body is yellow , and only two eyes are black , like large dark circles . The two small animals hugged each other in a cute sleeping position . Later , I learned from the guide that this is called a loris , also known as a slow loris . It is the only poisonous primate . It sleeps during the day and moves at night . When it sleeps , the birds and the beasts can’t wake it up . It moves very slowly . Someone has observed it and found that it takes 12 seconds to move a loris , which is really lazy , no wonder it is called a slow loris ! I ran over to shake the trunk , to see if I could shake them both off .
After walking for a long time , I finally approached the destination.We sat there quietly , waiting for the next batch of elephants to appear . After a long time , the elephants began to appear . The one in the front should be the mother elephant , the baby elephant in the middle , and the father elephant in the back . The tail , as if afraid of being lost . They did not stay , just passed by in a hurry , and soon disappeared in the woods . After the three elephants left , we were unwilling to look for other elephants in the woods . In a short while , we saw a strange branch swaying in the gap between the trees . Upon closer inspection , the elephant’s nose was swaying . It turned out that there was an elephant hidden in the woods ! We didn’t rest long in the shade , and another group of elephants came over in the woods . An elephant may be too fat , showing a big elephant butt , and a whip-like tail wagging around . We had been playing on the observatory for a long time and were about to go back when we heard cheers from the crowd . I ran over and saw , oh my god , more than a dozen elephants come out , no wonder the explainer said that elephants usually appear at noon . They walked in a flat , empty place , as if they didn’t care about being seen by us , and walked slowly and leisurely like a walk . We directly saw many elephants , baby elephants , and elephant mothers with baby elephants ! Seeing the baby elephant burrowing around into the mother elephant’s belly , the naive look made the tourists laugh .
